INTRODUCTION:
In March of 1913, Karl Baranowski and his wife Augusta, took their two young sons and boarded this ship in Bremen, Germany.
Fourteen days later, they arrived at Ellis Island in New York City, NY. Here is the ship's manifest with their names on Lines 2, 3, 4, 5:

If you ever go to New York City, be sure to visit Ellis Island, where you'll find the name of "The Karl W Baranowski Family" on the Wall of Honor. Here is a picture of Bob Barr taking a rubbing of the Wall of Honor:

Can you imagine spending 14 days on a ship and then seeing LADY LIBERTY in the distance!!!
